Just resting. Reviews soon; and is there really any interest in "Clark wakes up a girl"? I mean, I've written this whole story, but I'm not sure how much it will do for anyone who isn't me.
Got my Remix Redux assignment: ulp. Just a little bit intimidated. At least Heinlein was dead and not, you know, watching.
Big important BtVS canon question: Does Kennedy have a last name? Relatedly, I think S4 might have to be my favorite season overall. After starting out weakly with The Freshman, Living Conditions and Beer Bad, it's awesome the rest of the way through, and I'd forgotten that even Beer Bad has some wonderful slamming of Parker the Seducer. I'm 2/3 through S5, and it lacks some of the punch -- also, all the Buffy/Spike stuff creeps me out, because for foreshadowing there's too much of it and because I do believe that it became real for Spike at some point, but I don't see it yet. Maybe when he lets himself get beaten to a pulp for Buffy's sake, because you're always hurt by the ones you love?

Yes! I think, as with the second draft of Golden Rule, you've dealt with *most* of the major issues that bugged me with the first draft.

Um, yeah. Hell, yes. (Not that I can ever really imagine saying "Oh, no, no Rivka story for me, thanks.")

Clark-as-a-girl is also a good thing.

I nobly volunteer to read the Clark-wakes-up-a-girl.

This is almost an uninformed opinion, since I've never rewatched any of my s7 Buffy tapes, but I thought Kennedy *was* her last name?

Yes, there is!
Oh, but you know what else I'd be really interested in? A continuation of that bit in your "Five Things," in which Lex got put in the non-aging coma after the meteor shower. He and Clark are just such sweet little friends. Lex is so confused and cautious and smart, and Clark has his tendency to love acting as a big brother--I would find them adorable in another story. Plus, the story might advance to the point where Clark's gone away for college, and when he's done and comes back at 22, Lex is now 16 and looking grown up and...newly interesting.
Pretty much, though, I think I'd really love more of any type of cliche!fic from you, because of your attention to details that make the stories just perfect. In the preternaturallywee!Lex story, it was Lex's distaste at the baby carrots there didn't used to be before the coma; in Switch, Lex -in-Clark's-body noticed how toothpaste seemed less abrasive. I love how you do that stuff.
So, yeah, please write anything you want and post it :)

Believe it or not, I have the whole wee!Lex story in my head, but it's just an enormous commitment and I'm commitment-shy. There is definitely a part where sweet 16 meets 22, and then more angst, and then a happy ending, because I can't keep away from the happy endings in SV. This is because I'm perverse.

Ooh! Ooh! You have no idea how happy it would make me.
but it's just an enormous commitment and I'm commitment-shy.
But think of it this way: you can cheat on it, and work on other stories while you're writing it.
This is because I'm perverse.
Snicker. I suspect this is my own reason for wanting to write a story in which "My Best Friend's Wedding" meets Smallville. It is, of course, Lex's wedding, and Clark is Julia Roberts. Rupert Everett's part is played by Lionel.

*shakes head* That's an uncommon grammatical uncertainty.
