(For the record? I had half the Support response written for that feature request, and I actually had the feature request page open to add the ticket to the list on PMs. Think it's time to sleep.)

I can see why the archive might not want it! I know people sometimes just have accounts to be readers/commenters, and ordinarily I would worry about getting into some sort of Alphonse and Gaston cycle; kudos are great when you can't think of something to say and if I PM'ed back people might feel pressed to engage further, and that's anti-kudos! I just really appreciated them today.
I don't know what's been the difficulty for you personally, but I hope tomorrow is a better day. I still haven't had a chance to read the continuation of your SPN/Buffy story, but it's on my list!
I keep forgetting to leave a comment about this except when I am at work, when I cannot comment on the Archive or this story in particular for obvious reasons: Sometimes I wish there were a "I just reread this!" button since you can't send kudos more than once (at least logged-in). I reread "Filthy Mind" again this week. Though if I clicked a button every time I reread it, it might kind of freak you out, so perhaps it's better I can't.
