Also, today I am 30. It doesn't feel as significant as general culture tells me it ought. Z did, however, get me three perfect gifts: OS X.2 (Jaguar), chocolate sorbet, and a freaky-looking centipede in a box, to go with my spider, leaf bug, and shiny beetle.

All April birthdays are the same. The Body Shop even says so -- I have a coupon for a free goodie any time during the month of my birth.
