OH JUDGE KOZINSKI NO.
This story leaves way too much unclear--like, how was this unlinked subdirectory discovered? And it makes me sad that the Judge didn't know enough to password-protect his files. Safe computing--it's not just for kids anymore. I could say more about the relative credibility of his explanation that he kept the files as curiosities, but I'm just going to sit back and be glad that I have no judicial ambitions but still possess life tenure. judith_s points out that the judge has now suggested that it was a family directory and he didn't upload most of the pictures. Uh, the family that plays together stays together?

I am curious about the big gap between the LA Times story and a reported e-mail from the Judge to Above the Law, in which he seems to suggest his son uploaded many of the files. I mean, I'm potentially cool with people who like people who are painted like cows, but don't throw family members on the tracks unless you really mean it!
