Nothin' special here. I'd sort of like to be able to make the obvious joke based on Erica Durance's last name, but I'm on balance happy with the character so far.

Did it strike anyone else that Dr. whatsername had a greater-than-physicianly interest in her patient? Not that I'm condemning; if I were young, unmarried, brunette, smart enough to be hired by Lex Luthor to tend to his very specific medical needs, and in a position regularly to put my hands all over his sweaty body, I'd be using his first name too. Among other things. With Lex's luck, though, it won't be long before her crazed jealousy leads to yet another attempt on his life; here's hoping his ex-boyfriend isn't still too pissed to come save him.

What's the thinking on Chloe, by the way? I have avoided all spoilers on this, and I'm not asking for inside info -- just speculation, if you have any. She's out of the opening credits; is it possible nonetheless that she's still alive? Would SAG allow the deletion of an actor's name, despite entitlement to a credit, to avoid spoilers?

I don't think I can answer this without being contaminated by my spoiler knowledge; I will say that all summer long, while I was avoiding spoilers, I thought she'd live and was stunned by her absence in the credits. Since she wasn't in the episode, it's probably within the SAG credit rules regardless of whether she comes back or not; if she comes back as a special guest star, I'll be extremely sad because I love her and don't like Lois enough to sacrifice Chloe for her. (I've always admired Farscape for managing a large number of episodes with only half the cast, but maybe them being mostly Australian helped with that; and the SAG rules have made me sad ever since I heard that they prevented Joss from putting Jesse in the credits for the first episode of Buffy.)
