Query: If you were perusing a slash archive, and found a story in which Clark is turned into a girl for most of the way through (and boffs Lex while possessing female equipment), would you feel wronged? I'm just not sure if I should post Skin Deep at the SSA, and I don't really want to get anybody mad.

Also, Stargate's Wormhole X-treme was exactly what I needed tonight. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.

And finally, a friend and I were watching vids today, and she brought up the Groundhog Day cliche. You don't see it in stories so much, only film/television. Why is that, I wonder? Is it because repetition is easier to bear when viewed? You'd think you could write a quick repetition montage-like thing, but it would be a technical challenge. Hmm. Perhaps I shall add it to my list.

... I just read it, too, and jesus that was hot. And sweet, and sad, and funny, but mostly hot.

Smallville Day AKA Groundhog Day

I think this story can be done. I started an outline for one and think it would be a great idea. You can either do it where only one character knows that time is repeating, more than one character knows, or everybody slowly starts feeling it.

I remembered how much I liked the ST:TNG ep. where everyone slowly started feeling it. And to a certain extent BTVS where she needs to please a customer. What I like is if it is only one person that knows, like in Groundhog Day time can go by for weeks, months even years... but noone ages and only the person who knows matures personality wise. They can go through the stages of anger sadness loss aceptance, do really humarous/stupied things, thus learning about themselves and others. But also to face the horror of no future. If you have no future make the best you can of that day! *I personally think Clark would be perfect for this, since he still really needs to learn and grow* Plus Clark can foind out how Lex would act if he lets say told about the repeating day, would he believe him? or tell him is secrects? How would he react. And Clark would know that even if it goes badly Lex ain't gonna remember the next/same day. Oh the possiblities. What makes it interesting is you can have one mainish plot like in Stargate where Clark figures out slowly how to stop the time loop, but he doesn't work on it every loop. In Stargate the loop was metioned to be over 3 months.

Anyway once again I love your Skin Deep story. I would love for you to try the repeating day story as well. Another fetish I have is vampires, I've read only a few where either Lex or Clark becomes one. I would love to read a nice long with good plot story were Lex is turned into a vampire! *Sexy Lexy*
