[personal profile] glockgal did a really awesome and horribly depressing comic of Sam & Dean which, as [personal profile] giandujakiss says, goes AU in a way that differs from [personal profile] vito_excalibur’s beautiful AU  (v_e made me a printed version for my office, lucky me)—both are Sam & Dean race swap, tooling around in their sixties car with their arsenal.

Meanwhile, [personal profile] meret asked for Vampire Diaries, Bonnie’s thoughts on her friends dressing up a confederate soldiers on Founder’s Day, and I wanted to do it and I wanted not to screw it up; I didn’t get far with the former and I welcome feedback on the latter. She strikes me as keeping her own counsel most of the time, and I imagine she’s not surprised when no one asks her about why she’s not partying hearty. If she were asked:

It’s not my job to forgive you. Or your ancestors, or whoever it is you think you are in those outfits. Just like I can’t make Elena run as far as possible from all these vampires—or maybe I could make her, but I won’t because I’m not that person—I can’t make you see those costumes the way I see them. I don’t even wonder why you don’t see what I see, which is blood and not pride. I love you anyway. But I can’t help but wish that all that concern you give out so freely would cover the people who aren’t in this parade of yours.

… and now I totally want a Bonnie story with the prompt, “You’re so nice; you’re not good, you’re not bad, you’re just nice. I’m not good, I’m not nice, I’m just right. I’m the witch. You’re the world.”

In super-trivial news, I watched a chunk of Stonehenge Apocalypse. Observations: Misha Collins does have shame! It is apparently acting-related. Torri Higginson: what is up with that accent? Why didn’t the director, or actual British people, warn you off? The internet says you studied in London!
