halfamoon will be open again this year from February 1 through February 14, 2009.

Half a Moon is a fourteen day challenge celebrating female characters in fandom. Fanfiction, vids, recs, art, picspam, icons, meta, fanmixes, and outside links to content fitting the theme of this community are all welcome--the only rule is that the primary focus must be on a female character or characters. Please see the intro post for more information.

Also, please feel free to crosspost this announcement and to promote halfamoon in your own journal or other appropriate communities.

Not that I need more to write, but I'm kind of idly thinking about Ellie Bartowski's big, big brain.
