...that at the gas station, around 6:55 or so, the shot from outside shows the letters WING down the side of the building? Along with "serial arsonist sought" and "always be careful" (about fires), I wonder if we might be in for SPN's version of Bad Wolf. I could live with that.

Heh. [livejournal.com profile] astartexx says that somewhere in the background, you can also see the words "strap-on." I wouldn't mind that being a theme for the season either...

Sadly, I think it's unlikely. Serial arsonist could give good Sam though.

YES! I noticed WING and "serial arsonist sought" but not "always be careful".

I think it is something Kripke would do, and then giggle about his own ingenuity in the privacy of his own home. And say what you will of SPN, they have always been rather, um, unsubtle about their foreshadowing.

Heh. I missed "WING," but I loved the "serial arsonist" headline (my first thought was, "Oh, no, Sam, be more careful!", but maybe that was the subconscious influence of "always be careful," which I only noticed consciously the second time around).

The funny thing is, it's a different window than the one on the front of the gas station, which we get a better look at--so it seems more likely to be deliberate (I have no idea what word WING would be a part of).

I also like SerialArsonist!Sam and can imagine him smirking at Dean's trivial playing with matches.

A-ha! Just goes to show how dependent I am on the beginnings of words to figure them out. Still loved the visual!

:D and I, poor fool who must always seek reasons for everything, saw the arsonist/ always be careful and giggled, but my only reaction to the sign was "oh, THAT's why the place is deserted in the middle of the day..the tow truck's out!" Foreshadowing never occured to me till now!
But you're probably right
so I'll leave you with this thought.

TO wing or not Towing?

I totally noticed the arson, but completely missed WING. I was sure it was going to come up, but then, no fires.
