I realize that I don't know as many of you all as I thought I did. Someday, perhaps after I grade my exams, I will read everybody's LJ, but for now I'd really love to get to know you better -- in a way that requires less effort on my part. So, how's about it? Also, should I review more books or fewer? What about music and movies? I'm unbudgeable on the fic, so those of you who aren't here for that are just going to have to skip it.
ETA: Specific questions about you:
What do you like to talk about?
I'm guessing we're mostly media fans, so what are your fandoms?
Would Superman take Batman, or would Batman beat Superman? (I have a very strong opinion on the latter.)

Hmm. My latest fandom tally includes: Stargate SG-1, Lord of the Rings, Ultraviolet, Ranma 1/2, Babylon 5, Star Trek (original and Deep Space 9), Star Wars (original and prequels), Highlander, Harry Potter, Buffy, Xena & Hercules, Lost Boys, Smallville, and Horatio Hornblower. I've used italics for the fandoms I've got fanfic in-progress, and the bold is fandoms I've actually finished stories in. In the rest of them, I'm reading and collecting images and songvids, and I'm wishing for more hours in every day to indulge in them all... How the heck this all happened, well, I'm not sure. I'm sure, somehow, It's All
Hmm. Since in my worldview they're usually both on the same side of things, I haven't thought about that before. If the Bat had kryptonite and malice aforethought, he could probably take Supes. Otherwise, I'd say Supes can probably take him.
What about you? Turnabout is, after all, fair play... :-)

I like to talk about Smallville, Buffy, law, especially copyright and trademark law, and books. My fandoms: XF (lapsed), ST:TOS (just reading, and not too much of that these days), Buffy/Angel (glad that Buffy's ending gracefully, contra the XF), Smallville, and Farscape (I just like to watch).
Bruce Wayne always already has malice aforethought, so my money's on him if it's one on one.
