SV futurefic, roughly 26,000 words.  Needs work on the end; I'm looking for brainstorming ideas or at least "this is the part that isn't working" and I will try to find new inspiration.  Payment in eternal gratitude.

Also, nearly a month ago a lovely anonymous person gave me a virtual gift for my LJ, which was so sweet, and then I got caught up in the end of the semester, exam-writing, and various and sundry other real-life distractions.  So thank you, belatedly; if I can essay a drabble or something in gratitude, let me know in comments and I'll give it a try. 

Warning: I'm scheduled to go into the hospital on the 11th, so progress on either of these may be interrupted for a bit.

Yep. Barring unforeseen developments, it will be then; I'm prepared to return to the story after I get out of the hospital, and perhaps all the change (and lack of sleep) will even jar something loose creatively.

Basically, it feels like the later portions are unbalanced. What events would add depth to Kara and to the Krypton:Earth :: Clark:Lex equation? How can Lex get greater insight into what's up with Clark all this time?
