Via BookSlut, this collection of really bad fantasy/sf/horror sentences had some great ones, like the title of this post, some I didn't think were bad enough to remember, and some that actually seemed ok. But then I have a thing for ridiculous metaphors and similes, such as "The wagon lurched forward like an armadillo trying to mate with a very fast duck."

ohgawd. It'sjust. My sides hurt from laughing now.
I really must find this Ibid book. `Don's eyelids fell shut with a silent thud.' Whaa? I can't tell if the man was serious or not.

These are all reasons why one should not write while smoking the crackpipe.
