Speaking of originalists, what argument can the Harry Potter ones make if they've seen one of the WB films, much less more than one given the huge differences between 1/2 and 3 and the upcoming 4? This reminds me of students who claim that crit/analysis "ruins" the original: they're right, of course, as I've learned from my magic studies (tricks are less interesting when you know how they're done.)
