Ah, multiple universes and multiple versions of characters. Speaking of originalists, what argument can the Harry Potter ones make if they've seen one of the WB films, much less more than one given the huge differences between 1/2 and 3 and the upcoming 4? But speaking of multiple perspectives, I prefer my Jonathan Cranes from the universe where they're pretty.
Cesca posting from vvc! This reminds me of students who claim that crit/analysis "ruins" the original: they're right, of course, as I've learned from my magic studies (tricks are less interesting when you know how they're done.) But talk about your slippery slopes! Do we muzzle critics or reviewers on those same J. Geils grounds?
