Whaddaya know, I'm not dead. Just incredibly tired out from the 150% humidity in the DC area.

So:

Atlantis: Ford's makeup was creepy, just enough to make the problem clear without dehumanizing him. (By the way, I caught the preview show Sci-Fi did, and damn you Joe Flanigan for being so personable. I don't want to like actors. I wish they'd just turn themselves off, like Stepford wives, when done shooting scenes. But Joe can stay.)

Battlestar Galactica: Bitch stole her ride. What more is there to say?

SG-1: Here's a concept -- Good story idea: Vala using her sexuality as a weapon. Bad story idea: Vala using her actual breasts as a weapon. Space hookers everywhere are mortified on her behalf. Still, it's hard not to like the metatextuality of it all. It's like they took her Farscape leathers, cut them in half, then sewed them back on. She wasn't always that skinny, was she? I want to feed her fruit and cake, and not at all in a sexual way.

So true. In fact, I hear the space hookers' union is taking up a collection for the poor girl.

She used to have more facial fat; there were curves over the bones. It could be as simple as being seven (is it?) years older.
