Hideaway and No Darker Than Yours, the latter with lovely art by Digitalwave, are now available on my website, and I'll post them to SSA & Level Three shortly. There's also The Bitter Vid (direct link to .mov file), which was essentially my attempt to detach emotionally from Smallville as of the end of S3. As seperis said about Clark's attempt to fix Lex in "The Presence of Fire": not entirely successful. Music: Placebo again, "The Bitter End."

Is the 20 pt font on your stories intentional? Thanks for posting -- I loved both. Hideaway was especially fun. Thanks!

Intentional -- I guess so, in the sense that I wanted it relatively large -- legacy of a family with vision problems, though I had no particular font size in mind. You can change the text size on most browsers, if it bothers you.

Oh wow. That vid was spectacular; very technically proficient. It must've taken forever to get all those clips! The scenes from Shattered made me ache all over again. :(

I just read both of the stories on SSA, and wow! The island - that's just such a grand sweeping dramatic lecture, perfect for Lex. And the journey you take us on with No Darker is simply amazing - ups and downs and in the end, incredibly satisfying. Clark's promise at the end makes me grin so hard. Hee.

The Bitter Vid is amazing! The visual "twinning" of Clark and Lex was brilliantly done, and the final rapid-fire sequence took my breath away. Wow!

I downloaded bitter on Saturday. I got around to clicking on it today completely forgeting where it came from when it first started. And all I have to say is Wow! I know (almost) nothing about Smallville except who they are, but visually, it's gorgeous. I don't know the source, but I'm assuming you did a lot of repositioning of it in order to get the scene transitions work out just right, and does it ever! The movement and energy is spectactular.
