[livejournal.com profile] cesperanza and [livejournal.com profile] cathexys, among others, might be interested in this blog pointed out to me by [livejournal.com profile] misterrivkat (Side note: isn't that sweet?): here, the Columbia graduate student in US history discusses the historiography of archives, the book, etc., and it's fun. It's not clear that the blog will continue to be updated, though.

Does anybody know of good tools for RSSifying a blog without its own feed? I found one, but it's not highly satisfactory.

Without a standard format, it's very hard for the computer to know where to look for what data. I've written scripts that turned HTML to RSS, but always when the HTML came from a single source that generated data in a predictable fashion.
