rivkat: Smallville: nice is different than good (nice is different than good)

Here, A & B Song. "All our time slips away." I feel pretty good about this, and hope you like it too. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] boniblithe, [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza, and [livejournal.com profile] geekturnedvamp for helpful comments. Anything wrong with the vid -- their fault.

Bwahaha! You're funny :)

Can't wait to get home and see the final final!

You know I love you, right? The beginning has been changed more; that's really it. And a better title card at the end, but that's probably unnoticeable.

I know :-D

I like the changes! Well except I really liked Lex drinking the scotch in the very first part, so I miss him there. But I think the rest of it is much tighter!

I just watched the video, I loved it sweetie. The cuts work beautifully with the lyrics of the song. There is a lot of emotion conveyed with the video. Very, very nice job.

Awesome! I'm generally excited about any vid that uses Tom McRae, but I especially enjoyed this vid. A & B allows for a great contrast, and the scenes you used were perfect. Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. A & B seemed perfect for them (though I also have a vid in my head to "Dose Me Up (End of the World News)."

I love Tom McRae, so you pretty much had me at hello. But I also felt a genuine pang as I watched this vid. It shows so clearly the developing Rift, and all that will be lost because of it. And some of the effects were really cool. For instance, I LOVE the section where you contract the black and white photo of Clark and Lex with the cave wall figure. That was pretty masterful, IMO. *applauds*

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it & that you liked the effects. I'm a big Tom McRae fan too.

Seriously, wow. Still reeling over that last transition from blood to cape. I'm in love with this! (Great song, too.) Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. The blood/cape thing was a whim, so I'm happy it turned out well.

Got here through [livejournal.com profile] also_boni's journal a couple of days ago and kept meaning to leave feedback and then getting distracted.

This video was *fantastic.* I love the song choice, for one. I'd never heard of the artist before but the slow build works wonderfully and the lyrics/feel of the video are perfect for Clark and Lex in this case.

Favorite parts of the video - I love the quick flashes. The shots from "Exodus" quickly added into the "A's got a cocaine body" clip, and the "and all our time slips away" flashes between the picture of Clark and Lex and the image of Numan and Seget. I *adored* the final build up - "the storm is rising in me / the blood is rising in me" and the clips chosen were absolutely perfect.

Aside from really loving this song now, I adore this video...definitely one I'll be watching multiple times. Thank you for sharing it! :)
