Yeah, the Bruchac is a little weird, at times, but I liked it. He's hit or miss as an author but that series is one of his better ones.
I love Alexander. AMABASSADOR and NOMAD are sf, YA, and very relevant to the current moment. His other two series are both fantasy and middle grade, but I love them both. GOBLIN SECRETS is thoroughly charming.
