I don't mean to nitpick, Tom, but is this really your plan?

Yeah, THICK AS THIEVES didn't make me fall in love with anyone (as QUEEN did for me with Gen and Irene, and KING did for me with Costis), but it was an excellent adventure, keeping series regulars on their toes deciphering the puzzles we knew were there, and a solid look (as KING was) at watch a young adult shake the complete conviction of youth in a sheltered environment. And unlike the others, that narrator had to shake the lies we tell ourselves not to feel abused, which was very well done.
