Pictures from A Clockwork Nebari on my tumblr.

John and Chiana have excellent chemistry, especially in disturbing situations. Also, I love that Winona is named offscreen. That is so Farscape of them, like Stark and Granny, but also we really didn’t need to see the scene in which John named Winona.

However, I do not love D’Argo’s lisping gay caricature adopted whenever a situation calls for less-than-“manly” behavior. Diegetically speaking, that may say something unflattering about how John thinks, given the presumed function of the translator microbes.

Hey, are there any good post-PK Wars stories that deal with the Nebari situation? I’d love to get that.

If you find any, let me know? I've been wanting that for a decade. If the show had had a fifth season, I would have wanted the Nebari to be the main antagonists.

Diegetically speaking, that may say something unflattering about how John thinks, given the presumed function of the translator microbes. Oh, fascinating idea! And yeah, I mean, it would kind of fit, maybe, with his character? Not like, aggressively homophobic, but certainly looking for ways to reify his all-American manliness whenever possible. hm...

I also like the way that the first scene in which Wynona is named has her misfire.
