Smallville/comics question, which might be perceived as spoilery for tonight's (now last night's) episode:
Is it comics canon that Perry is an Elvis fan, or is that just from Lois & Clark? Whatever, I loved "Walking in Memphis," though I agree that Lane Smith would have been an even better casting choice than Faux Mulder.

I don't remember him ever being an Elvis fan. Post-Silver-Age: not sure. digitalwave is probably right in that, if this element did show up in the comics, it probably wandered over from L & C.
