The article about the psychological poverty trap was interesting, though I don't agree with everything said. I do think there is merit in the idea that people make less reasoned decisions when under stress, however.
I think I read a book edited by Jack Hart some years ago, but I'm not sure. I'll have to check out this one, since it sounds interesting.
