Cassie has about one more episode to stop being Bad Judgment Barbie.  I can actually construct a character-based reason for her blindly trusting Nick's brother--she as much as says she identifies his fleeing the town with her own desires and her mother's actions, she doesn't know the history at a visceral level (as Adam points out), she's trying to stay away from Adam, and she's maybe got some hormones working on her.  Yet someone she has every reason to trust tells her he's a thief and a danger, and she was certainly standing close enough to hear the completely unacceptable thing he said to Adam.  Yet she doesn't even ask for an explanation, she just has a feeling he's not really that guy.  Okay.  I can understand her actions, but I'm not sure I can tolerate them even if it means losing Faye and Melissa.
