I love Fringe so much. Salon has given me the useful term “Petergeist” to go along with Walternate and Altlivia/Altstrid. Is there a good name for Red Broyles, or do we just call him Arms? Also, I didn’t look at the credits carefully enough—did they change any of the spelling of the words in the credits for Red Fringe? (While I love the change in spelling for Manhatan, I thought the Nixon Parkway was a cheap shot.)

[personal profile] flourish has some useful background on FictionAlley here. I’m always forgetting that everyone’s fandom is different, especially given the ready customization we have—things that seem like institutions to me can be unknown or barely known to people I think of myself as fannishly close to.

I love Fringe so much. Every time I think it can't do anything more clever than it's already done, it goes ahead and does itself one better. I like how except for the one kiss from the Petergeist in the previous episode, it's not trying to make it all about True Love Finds A Way, it's about all the things that tie her to her old life, and Peter just being a symbol of that life. (The bit where she called Ella on her birthday made me choke the fuck up. Ella is the best ever, the end.)

And now that she's sure what she knows, I can't wait to see what havoc she wreaks on that world. Olivia is in my top five of characters to never, ever piss off because she will Fuck Shit Up. This is going to be glorious.

Olivia continues to be made of awesome. She is smart, aware and deadly when necessary. I love "Petergeist" - thank you for that term!

FWIW - I was curious and looked it up, and yes, Jimmy Olsen has a twin, so there were in fact two of them in this episode.
