Eight Crazy Nights: prompts open

Now taking prompts for Eight Crazy Nights, my annual Hanukah celebration in which I post ficlets (or sometimes fic) in response to your prompts, more every night to mimic the candles.  You can prompt me with anything, but I don't guarantee results, especially if it's in a fandom in which I haven't previously written.  Currently active fandoms: Vampire Diaries, SPN, Fringe, Dark Angel, Chuck, and Smallville, but as I said feel free to swing for the bleachers.

ETA: I need a lot of prompts, so please keep them coming.

I'd love to see Dean sad and trying to help Sam with his current problem instead of angry and blaming for once. And I wouldn't mind a grateful Sam cheering Dean up after he starts feeling again.
