I love this show! I love Damon/everyone and I love Bonnie, and I have even come around to liking Jeremy and Tyler. But mostly I love how the show Gets Shit Done.
I love Bonnie. I love how Caroline is SO MUCH MORE than Harmony, the obvious parallel. I love Damon the sociopath, how he genuninely cares about people (OMG DAMON AND LIZ SO CUTE).
As it turns out, this town is deadlier than Sunnydale for teens just trying to grow up... somehow I don't think anyone will be giving Elena a protector umbrella, Buffy-style, at graduation.
Jeremy interests me more now, though I am not sure I want to see Jeremy/Bonnie.
Word. And frankly I like Damon and Bonnie a lot more then Elena and Stefan, who is walking a fine line for me based on his own selfishness in changing Damon because HE couldn't deal with being alone. I really like Caroline, Matt, Jeremy and Tyler and I do love how every time one thing is settled another thing goes up in flames. q
