See, I loved almost all of Buffy S6, because I liked the rage and depression--you're right, it's really hard to do, and maybe it has to click just right with the viewer, because of the interiority of the experience. I loved Dean's depression in S2, and I totally grok it in S5, but man is he hard to live with. Harder to live without, though, I expect Sam will think!
I checked my notifications pretty extensively and they all said email, but I will go back and double-check. So annoying!
