Thank you! The question of Hell is just a concentrated version of the problem of evil, and I wanted Lucifer to pose it in the most persuasive way for his small but key audience of two. I don't think the demons can be allowed to run free--they seem to enjoy inflicting pain too much--but they shouldn't be creating more of themselves in Hell.
