ow the trickster. I was like 'fuck you are never gonna get away from this. He's gonna eat you ALIVE'... and then the lady came into the room and I was like 'nononononooooooooooo' >>
that was MEAN. I mean, of course it was mean. The trickster IS mean. But -- wow. Mean trickster is mean.
Even if Dean is all caught up and freaking the fuck out, I'm glad that it looks like he is starting to come around to the idea that Sammy really, really needs him around. And that they can be together, and that Sammy isn't just ignoring him and running around with his fingers in his ears and his hands over his eyes whenever he doesn't like a part of a situation. Sammy just wanted DEAN. And he'd chosen the less self-destructive version because it meant -- hey, guess what? -- it was more likely for Dean to survive that way.
In the end it was all about Dean.
...they would make cute cowboys. If Sam can get over his fear, anyhow. People freaked out about horses freak horses out, and a freaked-out horse is just way too many pounds of no-fun-at-all.
The ending isn't totally happy, but now that everything's out in the open and wiped clean (well aside from Dean's brain, which is now unclean, or whatever), I feel like there isn't going to be the constant fear that this will be taken away -- instead that they can move forward, and honestly this time, even if it will be rockier at the onset.
ending chapter is INTENSE + lots of win
