Write or die

Yuletide draft achieved! It still needs a ton of work, but that’s doable. Among the best writing advice I ever received was that a bad first draft is your best friend. A bad first draft means there can be a final draft. And 20 pages of livelongnmarry! Bad first draft on that possibly tomorrow! And my Eight Crazy Nights prompts are moving, though some more slowly than others. This is all storing up writing fat for the spring semester, because I'm not going to be able to write much fiction until, say, May or possibly June after this.

In other news: I was reading Livia’s latest DCU fic, and it clarified for me the existence of yet another bulletproof kink of mine: nobody’s wrong, or “the opposite of a profound truth is often another profound truth.” That’s why I like enemies, and Mulder/Scully.
