I'll back up her statement too. Emancipation is just the lowest of the low. It made me question whether purchasing the DVDs was a sound decision. There's also another season one episode that bothered me in the blatant manly way they tried to handle a grrl power episode (you'll know it when you come to it) but it wasn't nearly as bad as Emancipation.
