Thank you! FF is one of my great fannish love affairs; I rewatch it just because I love it so much, and I can imagine writing fic because there's still so much to say.

Funny thing is that though I'm a Joss Whedon fan I had never seen Firefly till about two weeks ago when I was home alone with my crying baby cousin and the tv was on to distract her and I started to walk around *yes, this has become a long story* doing the baby jiggling thing and watching the fast movements and loud noises and the story. And as she fell asleep I went into Joss Whedon squeeage, because the part where (still bad at the names) Jayne (?) tells Mal about how her Netherlands don't run on batteries and need to see action, I...Well, I discovered a deep love.

But truly crazy River/Jayne, particularly if it ends in the slaughter of the ship and her hunting Jayne or the other way around, would make me happy. I can hear the last words of that fic; River lying down thinking 'so tired.'

...I'm...totally normal, but in a post B/F world you have to take the crazy/destructive/psychologically deranged where you can get it.
