I am really sorry about the cancellation, SG-1 folks, because the new team is finally starting to cohere. And Vala is growing on me. However, I am not pleased that the Jaffa had to be turned into the bad guys to give the (Americans) Earth-folk the high moral ground. US military, you do not get to lecture other people on collateral damage.
As for SGA, when Kolya slapped Weir with "No one deserves this," I wanted to hug him. Okay, he's immoral, but at least he's not in denial!

I'm not in denial, honest! I've just been auditing this for a while, and I haven't seen anything that makes me want to write off SG-1 completely yet.
I didn't like the Jaffa thing either, but had to give them credit for sowing the seeds for that turn-about in previous seasons. It really wasn't something the writers pulled outa their butts.

When Landry was going on about what the US military does and doesn't do, I was yelling, "TELL IT TO MICHAEL, YOU OLD HYPOCRITE!"
