How much do I love that in this interview (I consider the page spoiler-free, though Tapping and Judge do comment generally on their character arcs, mainly from last season), Browder uses "shiny" to mean "good"? I cannot explain the pure and intense quality of my love for Firefly, but it burns stronger now than ever.

Also, who was it who said of SGA, "What if they had a fandom and everybody came?"

I know. I've been in love with this show for well on three years, and the love, it refuses to die! Not that I've been monogamously faithful the whole time (ooh, Veronica Mars, you're so slinky and Arrested Development, come to my bosom) but Firefly is still the show I get all excited about when any little bit of news or mention comes my way. It's a little like the characters colonized my brain, just a little. In the good way! Only Joss has a way of doing that, and I would damn him if I weren't so partial to his work.

And if you wrote any Firefly -- even snippets, or especially snippets, because sometimes a small flavorful taste is good enough, or even better, like how one cookie is yum as compared to the whole bag -- I would do a happy dance.

SGA: the show is pleasant enough, but goddamn the fic is just... I couldn't escape it if I tried. Not there is a fandom like a bag full of cookies.
