Ahahahahaha. I have to say, everyone in the Alternate Universe looked like they'd escaped from a Public Enemy video, it was both hilarious and hot. Hee. I was saying to my husband that I love how Fringe has flipped the script on the male/female roles: Peter is, and always will be to some extent, the one who MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS, which is unusual in most media, I've only seen it on one other show and that's Legend of the Seeker. Peter is the Key, the one who most be kept safe to save the universes and that usually never happens with male characters whereas Olivia is his badass and powerful guardian who will do anything to keep him safe. Even on Buffy, none of the guys was treated like that, all the girls were badass and to some extent the guys were too, and I've always thought Xander was the biggest badass honestly because he didn't have any powers and yet he still did what needed to be done, and on Supernatural it was, and unfortunately will always be, all about Sam but on Fringe and LOTS that's totally flipped, Peter and Richard are surrounded by a small army of people, led by women, who will do whatever is need to keep them alive and safe. I like it.
