You called this a cliche fic, but I don't think I've encountered this particular cliche before. Wow. I just wanted to say, I love this and am very impressed- your portrayal of a transformed Dean is so insightful... and completely loaded. That Dean is immediately so keenly aware of how the "curse" has changed things for him is just, well, heartbreaking. And heartbreakingly authentic. It feels like you had something to say (about beauty. About functioning in the world without it) that is, I think, pretty unique within fanfic, and the truth of this fic comes across just beautifully.
