Thanks for letting me know you found it worth the (incredible) effort of reading aloud. (I would probably die of embarrassment while reading my own sex scenes aloud, I must admit.) One of my betas commented that the hate sex was not actually all that hateful to Sam, which is because Dean first and foremost wants to punish himself. Hurting Sam is just a side benefit.
