This is heavily context-dependent. Asked questions about socializing/dating, and I come up shy. Ask about work, and I'm aggressive and self-confident to the point of arrogance, thus Scott Summers is my inner X-Man. Lots of resarch shows that people overestimate the importance of personality traits and underestimate context in predicting behavior. Thus, one of my favorite results is that the percentage of seminary students on the way to giving a presentation who will stop and help a guy apparently having a seizure is directly correlated with how much time they have: if they're early, they generally will, and if they're late, they generally won't. And the seminarians were giving a presentation on the Good Samaritan!
