I'm a new-ish Smallville reader, and one who hasn't ever seen the show, so I am more than happy to see lots of SPN stuff show up. I like having a nice mix of things to read - so I usually spend time reading those stories I've already read before and those stories that are brand new (or brand new to me). But I have such a horrible habit of not telling authors that I like their older stories, especially when it might require me to *gasp* email, and I did the "should I email her? Yes, I should. But will I be coherent enough to say anything other than omg, yes, thank you? No. But I should anyway," which was immediately followed by me (1) not emailing you and (2) getting to read your brand new story.
Mostly, I think I'm trying to say thank you, and that as long as I have some familiarity/interest in what you're writing, I know I'll be happy because of that brain :D
