You have a number of storytelling problems there; a catheter would have been a good idea at first, but likely gotten infected and backed up (burst bladder, anyone?) with no one around to change it. And a guy with bedsores from his own piss is probably hard to film. This is a refrigerator question (http://www.newyorker.com/archive/1994/03/21/1994_03_21_165_TNY_CARDS_000368399), but such questions bother the heck out of me.
