Judith Butler -- don't get me started. I used to be much more tolerant of this kind of thing. Maybe it was the rarefied college air I was breathing, maybe I was more incisive, or maybe I was just more willing to assume that it was my fault if I didn't understand something. (With math and chemistry, this is true; cultural studies, I now think, less so.)
