Three things?

Tay Zhonday, Mama Economy: another ha ha ha sob commentary, from the singer behind Chocolate Rain.

There’s very little I like more than a good chiasmus, especially a political one: “I am not protesting because I need something to do. I am protesting because something needs to be done.”

Fringe:“That’s not my Olivia.” Wow, that was really clever use of Peter’s experience. I don’t know that it really means he’d be indifferent to Lincoln/Olivia, because this Olivia is not the same as Altlivia at all and seems in many ways close to his Olivia, but I guess if there’s anything Peter has reason to know it’s that close isn’t the same.  Also, OMG Olivia!  And Nina Sharp is finally exposing her edges!

Fringe, for me, just keeps getting better and better. I really haven't predicted any of the things they've done this season, and in the best possible way, so I'm really enjoying both the plot twists and the emotional continuity for all my favorite characters. And just like I loved getting to know Altlivia and the redverse, all the little differences and ripple effects, I'm enjoying the goldverse this time around. Also, oh man, Nina. Someone let it slip before I saw the episode that she did something Not Good, but still, I wasn't predicting *that.*

Some friends and I do a tv night thing on Monday nights, where we pick a show and work our way through the entire thing three eps at a time, and Fringe was our second show on the docket. We finished right in time with the end of season three. It was really awesome, seeing all the little things that they put in there- like in season one, with the green-green-green-red hypnosis lights? There was a bad guy who had a cap on with three green dots and then a red, all in a row. Little stuff like that is one of the things that makes this show so enjoyable for me.
