Anyone else watching? I think I've found a Yuletide fandom .... Rachel/Nina, or maybe Rachel/Nina/Cameron. Boy, the actress who plays Nina has a serious sf/Vancouver resume.
Hi! Sage has sicced me on your writings (and your commentary on G+).
That said? I want one or two more eps to get a feel for what Nina's hindrance is. Because there's a hint of something that happened with an ex that might be important for any ... festivities. (Though a ball gag might also swing those out of the way, depending on the swing of your writing.)
And thank you! I couldn't remember where I knew her from, til I saw that she was the Fata Morgana in Sanctuary.
Hi! Nina seems to have many issues, but I'm really liking her dynamic with the others. She conveys such ambition but also uncertainty, and I loved that she got a taste of her own medicine this last episode and that she seems to be thinking about that.
I'm interested in superhero shows of all stripes, but I found it very offputting that Mekhi Phifer's character has anger issues and his power is superstrength. Is it less skeevy than that character sketch suggests?
I think you mean Malik Yoba? Though they're both US law enforcement "odd men out" on the team. So, we've seen him be a real jerk, but we haven't seen real anger management issues, which may be related to the idea that everyone on the team has been in therapy (we also hear about past problems of others on the team, under control to various extents). He's also the only one trained in law enforcement, though the team is involuntarily drawn into that role. His power is not quite superstrength, though it functionally is in many circumstances; it allowed him to be the only one to resist the rage pheromones emitted by a different Alpha. I haven't found his portrayal skeevy, but that doesn't mean it isn't! (Mahershalalhashbaz Ali is also in the cast as the FBI point of contact, playing another sharp-tongued lawman.)
