Anyway, when I read mainstream media stories like this, it only reinforces my conviction that we are really, really frelling lucky that lolita07 got caught up in the purge. 30,000 fans on fandomcounts is great, but the reactions of Warren Ellis (of all people!) and others demonstrate that we are not quite ready for primetime, at least in primetime's opinion.

I'm always amused when people on sites such as Cnet leave comments that others need to step away from the computer, get outside, get some exercise and sunlight when the same most likely applies to them. I know the type. I'm married to that type. A little sunlight wouldn't hurt them, either.
