I really loved Other Minds: The Octopus, the Sea, and the Deep Origins of Consciousness and I'm so glad to see someone enjoy it. Fascinating is definitely the word for it! I picked it up because I like octopuses, but it was the philosophical musing on the nature of animal intelligence and evolution that really struck me.
