I may have bowed out of The Strain a while ago. I didn't like any of the protagonists they actually focused on. Does it get better again? Otherwise I'm staying bowed out. :/

I've been debating reading Sarah's other series, and I own the first on Kindle, but I haven't been told one good review without huge caveats. I love the other series, though. Conundrum!
