Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Tales of the Slayer Vol. 2

When I saw this on your reccomendations my eyes about bugged out -- a tie in? What? I've never really been a fan of those, but now I'm interested. And if you can work with comic books and haven't read the Sandman series yet -- let me pimp it at you. *flourishes purple hat and cane* Seriously, it's really worth checking out. Preludes and Nocturnes , the first volume, does some really interesting things with the narrative, and delves into subject matter that's as daring as I've ever seen.

As to orphan fics...I think everyone's got one or two. *laughs* I know I do, anyway.

What You Are Like In The Rain (http://www.livejournal.com/users/nifra_idril/14458.html) is one of them. I was...well. I was proud of it -- it was for the e.e. cummings challenge, and it's Lex POV. I think the reason I love it -- the intense attention I paid to style when writing -- is the exact reason it didn't get more feedback. Because, honestly, I'm a huge style whore, and I totally admit it.

The other is another Lex POV, (sort of). Caliban (http://www.livejournal.com/users/nifra_idril/30610.html) is a story set post-S2 hiatus while Lex is on the island. I think the biggest problem is that it's set in the second person...but, honestly? It isn't, not really. *frowns and tries to explain* It's...Lex. But not -- it's Louis inside Lex.

So those are my orphans. *grins and pets them* They're both Lex-related, which is kind of interesting, but *shrugs* there it be.
