Man, thanks for the note about rape-romance in the Iron Duke, because until I hit that paragraph I was already thinking "Hey, I should pick this up!" I have beyond had my fill of dubious consent stories. (Though that's a misnonmer: from your description, it sounds like the lack of consent was pretty explicit.) My teenage years spent with some extremely dubious historical romance means that if I hit a scene like that, I check out of the book. Thanks for keeping me from wasting my money.
