Last night's SPN

Not that I didn't enjoy it, but I wanted someone to mention that we know that not all vampires are monsters.  When I think about it, I understand why robo-Sam didn't--it wasn't necessary to his agenda.  And it's typical for Dean to go straight to "kill me," not believing that the veggie option is something he can do (he broke under torture, after all, so I see him expecting to break down and kill humans eventually).  But still!  You met her, guys! 

SPN has its share of pacing issues, but this time I really wanted the episode to last longer so we could get more vamp!Dean along with Sam, Samuel, and season arc revelations.

Last week I figured out I'd never reprogrammed my DVR not to record these and now I have all of them sitting there on my machine and I can't decide whether to watch them or not. I wasn't going to do season six because Kripke sooo pissed me off, but now that I realize they're there, I can't decide whether to chuck them or not.

Silly - of course you should watch them. There have been lots of conflicting opinions about what's going on with Sam, whether domestic!Dean was real (and worth it?), etc. etc. but one thing seems consistent - they both are incredibly pretty this year. You know you'll watch them eventually - might as well do it now so you can enjoy all the fevered commentary!

Pretty is good! But the reviews on my circle seem pretty solidly on the WTF side. Maybe I'll just let them stack up and wait to see if everyone suddenly starts posting OMG SO WORTH THE RIDE SO TOTALLY GLAD I KEPT WATCHING!@! And then I'll watch them. Because I soooo do not want to start caring about these characters again if TPTB aren't going to pull their heads out of their asses and do something different with them. (I can see it now - season 14! Sam came back wrong! Dean is conflicted! News at eleven! ::sigh::)
