I would definitely like to see more about how this works. I do think they should roll back the comment stuff, and probably also show a bunch of screenshots of what they mean by crossposting. I can see people for whom integration would be useful (say, pro authors who use LJ and Facebook to communicate with fans), and yet that's a subset who maybe should be offered the option to turn this stuff on.
